Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Liaison Specialist to join our team at Community and Economic Development Assoc. This role plays a vital part in expanding our network of service providers across suburban Cook County, focusing on Dental, Vision, and Auto Repair vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and vet new vendors within the dental, vision, and auto repair sectors across suburban Cook County.
  • Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal staff, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Vendor Orientation & Onboarding: Conduct orientation sessions and follow-up activities for new vendors, ensuring they are fully informed about program guidelines, expectations, and service standards.
  • Complaint Management: Resolve vendor and customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Track vendor performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and adherence to program guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in vendor management, recruitment, or customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
