About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Anesthesia and Pain Management Professional to join our team at Disability Solutions. As an integral part of our Surgery Department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anesthetic Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with primary surgeons to develop and execute comprehensive anesthetic plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly inspect and maintain anesthesia equipment, addressing any issues promptly to prevent disruptions in patient care.
  • Patient Monitoring and Support: Closely monitor patients' vital signs during surgery, making adjustments to anesthesia as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Pain Management and Recovery: Administer medications and fluids to manage pain and discomfort, facilitating smooth recovery from anesthesia.
  • Lab and Radiology Support: Assist technicians in collecting and handling laboratory samples, storing and packaging samples for outside submission, and assisting with radiography and CT scans.
Requirements
  • Credentialed in Advanced training and Education in Anesthesia and Analgesia (AVTAA).
  • Current certification and licensure in the state of practice.
  • Hands-on experience working in veterinary emergency, critical care, and surgery, preferably in a multi-specialty and emergency hospital environment.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
