About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technical Lead to join our Quality Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various Clarivate IP products and services, including automation, performance, manual, and security testing.

This is a technical lead role where you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts, customizing the automation framework based on requirements, evaluating, learning, and using new tools, working with team members in a supportive way that encourages team building and confidence with individual members, prioritizing individual and team workload, and supporting large monthly or quarterly releases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE, ME, B Tech)
  • 5+ years of experience in software automation, test frameworks, and manual testing
  • 5+ years of coding and debugging in Playwright
  • 3+ years of experience testing web-based applications
  • Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (MTech, MCA, MS)
  • Good working experience with version control systems like GIT or bitbucket
  • Familiarity and clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches
  • Familiarity of working with test and defect management tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity of working with SQL queries
  • Familiarity of working with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured
  • Understanding of open-source tools would be an advantage
  • Working familiarity with cloud tools like AWS
  • Strong experience of performance engineering with at least one tool (Netload, JMeter or LoadRunner)
  • Familiarity with tools like Cucumber, Rest Assured, and TestNG framework

What We Offer

We offer a full-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. You must live within a commutable distance to one of our US office locations: Ann Arbor, MI; Alexandria, VA or Philadelphia, PA.
