Job Summary

The Staff Radiation Therapist is a key member of our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of radiation oncology principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal equipment function
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Graduate of a certified radiologic technology school or radiation therapy program
  • Current applicable state license in diagnostic radiologic technology
  • Registered Radiological Technologist (R) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced radiation oncology department, with frequent exposure to radiation and other hazardous materials. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
