We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient General Surgery team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adults hospitalized with a wide variety of conditions, including surgeries ranging from gall bladder, hip, knee, neck, shoulder, kidney transplants and trauma.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, including patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Document required information according to hospital policy and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge, and develop skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
