About the Job

We are seeking a skilled IS Software Engineer to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Health. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet our business needs.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in software development and experience working with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code using version control systems such as Git
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development
  • Experience working with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $47.33-$76.19 per hour, depending on location and experience.
