About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. This is a full-time position working night shifts with an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care as a member of our Patient Care Services Team. With a focus on stroke care, this nurse will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care to patients with stroke and related conditions
  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
  • At least 1 year of experience in stroke care or a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
