The Good Samaritan Society is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to seniors. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans to help them maintain independence and engage in meaningful activities.

About the Role:

  • Assess clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to design effective occupational therapy treatments
  • Develop and implement realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate occupational therapy programs
  • Document client information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans as needed
  • Educate clients on strategies to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Salary Range: $31.00 - $49.50 per hour

Requirements:

  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred
