Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Assess and manage a range of medical conditions.
- Create and execute detailed treatment strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and histories.
Communication:
- Engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Deliver clear and concise medical information.
- Promote a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment.
Documentation:
- Maintain precise and current patient records.
- Record medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to coding and billing standards.
Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging.
- Perform necessary medical procedures.
- Work with specialists for comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
Team Collaboration:
- Work alongside nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide consultative services to fellow healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement:
- Participate in initiatives aimed at quality assurance and enhancement.
- Analyze clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement.
- Implement changes to elevate patient care and safety.
Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Continuous Learning:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough health assessments.

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Treatment Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Prescribe necessary medications and therapies.
- Provide education on health promotion and disease prevention.
Collaboration and Consultation:

Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted medical license in California
- Board eligible or board certified in the relevant medical specialty
