Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Saint Mary Medical Center. This role involves providing exceptional care in a dynamic environment.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, HIPAA, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification, NIH Stroke Certification, Fit Mask Testing, Health Documents such as TB Test and Immunization Records.
Job Specifications
  • State License: Indiana State License required; must apply within 48 hours of contract acceptance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • ARRT (R): Certification must be current.
  • RCIS: Preferred but not mandatory.
  • Patient Ratios: To be discussed during the interview.
  • Float Requirement: Not required.
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
Job Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • ARRT (R) certification is essential.
  • Indiana License application is mandatory within 48 hours of contract acceptance.
Schedule Information
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties.
  • Holiday on-call duties may be required.
  • On-call responsibilities are shared among the team based on schedule length.
  • The on-call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 RT daily.
Unit-Specific Information
  • Competency exams are required.
  • Core competencies include Parts I, II, and III.
  • OSHA compliance is mandatory.
  • Pass/Fail testing for EKG and medication administration.
Additional Information
  • Documentation such as accounting records is required.
  • Competencies and facility-specific documents must be submitted.
  • Background checks, references, employment applications, and skills checklists are necessary.
  • Verification of work history is mandatory.
