What does the role entail?

Management / Training:

  • Acts as the leadership representative in the absence of the Department Manager; works night shifts or opposite shifts of the Manager
  • Directs the overnight stocking team, including task delegation, motivation, and accountability for performance; manages conflicts or escalates issues to the appropriate Leader
  • Communicates team performance, operational status, morale, department needs, and inventory updates to the Department Manager and Leader; may provide formal feedback on Partner performance
  • Coaches and develops Partners; assists with onboarding and training of new hires
  • Contributes to scheduling; reports on overnight attendance and time management
  • Guides the team to achieve key performance indicators (e.g., A+ Standards, labor, OT, hospitality)
  • Utilizes technology and data for inventory management and stock levels
  • Ensures adherence to departmental SOPs and store operational guidelines; ensures compliance among Partners
  • Oversees compliance with inventory management SOPs and processes (e.g., MSI / MSR/ scan full case backstock)
  • Trains on maintaining 100% stock availability, product rotation, and fully stocked displays
  • Engages with DSD vendors
  • Handles heavy and bulky products, including loading and unloading
  • Will perform Night Stocker responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Delivers exceptional customer service; models and coaches on superior service and hospitality
  • Addresses customer inquiries regarding products; assists with selections; resolves complaints and issues
  • Effectively merchandises products
What is your background?

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 (mandatory)
  • At least 3 months of experience in stocking or customer service
  • Experience leading an overnight team or large teams in other business areas (preferred)
  • Completion of forklift / power jack training

If an item is too heavy to lift, push, pull, or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components or seek assistance from another Partner or a manager.
