Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting healthy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and maintain a high level of quality assurance in all pharmacy operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on all relevant regulations and guidelines, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff, and provide guidance and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, customers, and colleagues, and ensure that all interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful.
  • Inventory Management and Financial Performance: Manage inventory levels, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, and active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Background Check: Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List, and no pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
