Electrical Power Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing models for battery and power distribution components on the Aerospace Vehicle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop system models for battery and power distribution components
- Interface with integrated product teams to gather performance estimates, electrical models, and measured data
- Develop and implement electrical power system models in Spice tool
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards for electrical power
- Collaborate with professionals representing multiple engineering and non-engineering disciplines
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 14 years of experience; or 12 years with Master's Degree; or 9 years of experience with a PhD
- US Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance and Top Secret Clearance
- Experience developing electrical power system models in Spice tool
- Familiarity with aerospace standards for electrical power compliance
- Experience working in an Agile team
- Experience participating in or leading a subcontract management team
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
- Experience performing battery chemistry trades
- Experience developing and/or performing verification and/or test plans and procedures
- Experience preparing for and participating in design reviews
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
- Competitive salary range: $142,500 - $213,700
