Technology Program Coordinator

Collins-Maxwell Community Schools is seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Robotics Sponsor. This position involves overseeing the school's robotics program, working closely with students, teachers, and staff to ensure its success.
Salary: Estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The actual salary will be based on the district's compensation plan and may vary according to the candidate's background and qualifications.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology and education to make a meaningful impact in our community. As a Robotics Sponsor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the school's robotics curriculum, coordinating competitions and events, and providing mentorship and support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive robotics curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
- Coordinate and supervise robotics competitions and events, including setup, execution, and evaluation
- Provide guidance and support to students, including hands-on training and mentorship
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate robotics into the school's overall STEM program
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field, such as teaching, coaching, or industry
- Strong knowledge of robotics and computer programming principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
