Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Assembler to join our team at ITW Electrostatics. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling machines, equipment, and subassemblies following assembly drawings, written documentation, and verbal specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to plan and complete mechanical assemblies.
  • Follow generally accepted guidelines and wiring diagrams to route and connect wires for electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand and power tools during the assembly process.
  • Assemble components using a variety of fasteners.
  • Bend, route, and install flexible or rigid tubing for pneumatic systems following schematic drawings.
  • Measure components for inspection and fit.
  • Apply problem-solving and basic math skills as required.
  • Test or assist in testing the operation of completed products.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.
  • Good organization, planning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to accomplish tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate well with others within a team setting and to interface with other departments.
  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or a minimum of one year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
