Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, including lubrication, measurement, and inspection of equipment.
- Respond to emergency and breakdown maintenance requests to support plant operations.
- Accurately read and use gauges, measurement, and test equipment to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
- Install and replace electrical components, including wire and conduit, as needed.
- Diagnose and repair faulty electronic components, including printed circuit boards.
- Safely and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
- Read and interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
- Use basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, and clean up work areas upon completion of assigned tasks.
- Be available to work all shifts, including weekends, call-ins, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a corrugated facility.
- Electrical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Ability to pass an Advanced Industrial Skills and Instrumentation/Electrician Knowledge Assessment.
- Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen.
- Verifiable, stable work history.
- Flexible to work as needed.
