Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Life Flight team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in providing advanced nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, via ground, rotor wing, and fixed wing transport.

Responsibilities
  • Provide priority-driven, high-quality patient care in a patient-centered atmosphere
  • Supervise and coordinate the care of patients, including those with complex medical conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in educational activities, departmental committees, and research projects to advance the field of critical care nursing
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience, with a strong preference for experienced ground and/or air transport nurses
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
  • Certified as a North Carolina EMT (within one year of hire)
  • Ability to work in a diverse, autonomous environment
