Job Overview

Food Service Crew Member

The Food Service Crew Member is responsible for executing designated tasks to guarantee that top-notch products and services are delivered to patrons, upholding the standards of Papa John's. Compliance with appearance, uniform, and operational protocols as outlined in the Operations Manual, PIZZAcademy, Team Member Handbook, and applicable laws and regulations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned tasks, including ingredient preparation, crafting high-quality menu items, processing orders, and providing outstanding customer service through positive and professional interactions, whether in-person or via phone, all while demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, arrive on time for shifts, assist colleagues at their stations, and complete end-of-shift duties, including cleaning. Maintain uniform standards to enhance the company's image. Promote a culture of teamwork, enthusiasm, and enjoyment.
  • Effectively utilize the FOCUS System, accurately manage cash and/or credit card transactions. Increase sales by making thoughtful recommendations to enhance order value. Keep work areas organized, secure, and clean to protect company assets, consistently adhering to safety and security protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Possession of Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification is advantageous.
