Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at California Correctional Health Care Services. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to patients with a history of substance use who require additional medical assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and summarize case information to inform diagnosis, treatment, and dispositional release
  • Diagnose and/or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis
  • Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences
  • Document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science
  • Completion of a master's degree program from an accredited school of social work, approved by the Council on Social Work Education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in addiction medicine and substance use treatment
  • Knowledge of integrated substance use disorder treatment programs
Working Conditions

Travel is required.
