Position Summary:
Are you passionate about providing care for young children in a safe and engaging setting? The Child Care Attendant is tasked with meeting the personal needs of children aged 2 months to 6 years, including feeding, sleeping, and diapering, as well as facilitating various activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, games, and outdoor play.
Position Specifications:
- Expected Compensation: $21.36 per hour
- Availability: Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts
- Experience Level: Entry-Level
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care for children from infancy to 6 years of age.
- Attend to the personal needs of children, including feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment while adhering to childcare regulations.
- Maintain open communication with parents and colleagues regarding the care of the children.
- Facilitate a variety of engaging activities for children, including arts, storytelling, games, and outdoor play.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience with children and diaper changing is essential.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly throughout the day, as the role involves lifting and carrying children during activities.
The anticipated pay range is $21.36 per hour. This reflects the expected compensation for this position, with individual pay decisions influenced by various factors.
