We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Specialist to join our Operating Room team at MultiCare Health System, Inc.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth distribution of supplies and equipment to our operating rooms. As a Distribution Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify materials and receipts documentation against purchase orders and input purchase order receipts
- Coordinate with Purchasing personnel to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepancies
- Package and process supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping
- Supply stores with stock supplies within its designated Distribution Storeroom location
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or Inventory Control preferred (or combination of knowledge and education that would exhibit the qualifications to execute the duties of the position)
- Computer input/keyboard experience desired
- Computerized Materials Management system experience preferred
- Experience in using an electronic signature software preferred
- Basic experience in PC business applications including MS Word and Excel
