Overview

The Senior Clinical Dietitian plays a vital role in our healthcare team, utilizing their expertise to provide exceptional patient care and lead clinical initiatives. This position requires a strong background in clinical dietetics, with a focus on evidence-based medicine and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading clinical and patient care areas, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
  • Participating in Performance Improvement projects, serving as a clinical nutrition expert in task forces and meetings
  • Conducting in-services for clinical dietitians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and dietetic interns
  • Developing and implementing education and training programs for clinical staff
  • Providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) services to patients, identifying those at nutrition risk and developing personalized care plans
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of healthcare experience in clinical dietetics, with a strong focus on the Nutritional Care Process
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, with a Master's Degree in Dietetics or a related field preferred
  • Registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and licensure in the state of practice
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
