Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of culinary and supervisory experience, along with a valid ServSafe certification.
Benefits:

Job Summary:
The Lead Culinary Specialist will assist the Executive Chef in food preparation and cooking, while also coordinating the activities of kitchen staff and other food service personnel. In the absence of the Executive Chef, this role will assume full responsibility for kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and production standards.
2. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, including tasks such as interviewing, scheduling, payroll management, training, and performance reviews.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations by properly storing food and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
4. Monitor food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures to ensure quality.
5. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized.
6. Engage with customers to address any concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
7. Keep track of inventory and supply deliveries, notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
