Job Description:

The Pharmacy Department at Becker Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a rotating shift Pharmacist, you will be responsible for reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications, and ensuring the accuracy and safety of the medication use process.

You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide drug information support and collaborate on the planning for continuum of care and discharge planning. Additionally, you will oversee the work of pharmacy students and technicians in the preparation of medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Review medication orders and dispense medications
  • Ensure the accuracy and safety of the medication use process
  • Provide drug information support to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate on the planning for continuum of care and discharge planning
  • Oversee the work of pharmacy students and technicians
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
  • 1 year of experience working in a hospital or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in a clinical setting
  • PA Pharmacist License (RPH-LIC)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification preferred
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The shifts may vary and could be at other sites.
