Clinical Monitor Specialist

KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. is seeking a skilled Clinical Monitor Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of telemetry monitoring equipment and be able to interpret arrhythmias accurately. A basic understanding of anatomy and physiology of the heart is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Timely identification and reporting of cardiac rhythm status of monitored patients on the unit.
- Perform other related duties as required, including assisting with answering telephones and patient call lights courteously and in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely communication among patients, staff members, physicians, and other personnel.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Basic Arrhythmia or Telemetry Technician.
- No prior experience is required, but previous experience in a similar field is preferred.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
The Clinical Monitor Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often dealing with emergencies and critical situations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
