Electrophysiology Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team. As an Electrophysiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in EP procedures, including preparing and positioning patients, operating and maintaining electrophysiology equipment, and monitoring patient vitals and ECG signals.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural care, including wound care and monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Accurately document all aspects of the procedure, including patient information, procedure details, and equipment settings.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiology Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an EP lab or cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Hands-on experience with EP lab equipment and procedures.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with medical equipment and software.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
