We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for computed tomography procedures, ensuring accurate positioning and technical parameters.
  • Contrast Media Administration: Administer contrast media and/or medications as required, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Procedure Monitoring: Observe patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity and monitoring protocols for updates or refinements.
  • Radiation Safety: Follow established radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a radiology certification program or registration in radiology.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Licensure: Possession of a valid ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, or equivalent certification.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Constant standing and walking required for prolonged periods.
  • Vision and Depth Perception: Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
  • Hearing and Speech: Frequent use of hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
  • Lifting and Moving: Frequent lifting and moving of patients and equipment.
