Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Yardperson to join our team at Orica USA Inc. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to advance to become a CDL Driver and provides on-the-job training and necessary schooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bulk product delivery support to blast crews and assistance to crews for on-bench operations.
  • Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for the other members on your team.
  • Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Load and unload trucks, operate mobile equipment on site, and organize stock and products within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked.
Requirements
  • Experience with hand tools and mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more of product or other materials.
  • Ability to push/pull in working with equipment.
  • One year related work experience preferred.
