This role involves the microscopic examination and diagnosis of cancerous, pre-cancerous, and other non-cancerous conditions, as well as assisting in fine needle aspiration procedures with occasional oversight. The position requires adherence to established protocols while ensuring the accuracy of laboratory tests and related responsibilities. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for achieving reliable clinical results.Key Responsibilities:
Conducts thorough evaluations of cell samples from both gynecological and non-gynecological sources to facilitate accurate diagnoses and assists in the collection of fine needle aspirates. Engages in compliance and quality management initiatives daily, as well as special projects as needed. Utilizes laboratory information systems and medical center applications in accordance with established policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.Technical Skills:
