Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
