Key Responsibilities

  • Support all facets of budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis, and the presentation of financial results.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Foster a culture of return on investment (ROI) accountability across various departments and functions.
  • Create and design presentation materials for senior executives and the board, ensuring clarity and readiness to communicate these insights at all organizational levels.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure alignment with accounting practices in the development of detailed financial statements.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departmental leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field with a strong analytical focus; an MBA, CPA, or CMA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate financial planning, budgeting, and analysis within a large publicly traded organization.
  • Experience in the retail sector is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required; candidates must pass an Excel proficiency assessment.
  • Experience in preparing presentations and communications for investors and board members, including senior executives.
  • Strong operational business insight with the ability to simplify complex concepts into fundamental components, including unit economics.
  • A proactive approach towards processes, automation, and actionable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with financial planning systems is a plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite is beneficial but not mandatory.
