Inpatient Advanced Practice Physician

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Advanced Practice Physician to join our team at MUSC Health – Orangeburg Medical Center. As a key member of our Hospital Medicine department, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
About the Position
This full-time opportunity requires a skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in hospital medicine. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience working in an acute care setting and be licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN or PA.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Inpatient Advanced Practice Physician, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including comprehensive history taking, physical examinations, and treatment plans. You will also perform therapeutic procedures, initiate referrals, and document patient information. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement activities, clinical research, and accreditation initiatives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 6 months of hospital medicine experience.
- Licensure as an APRN or PA.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and DEA licenses.
