Role Overview:
The role of a Licensed Practical Nurse is pivotal in delivering essential nursing care within the defined scope of practice as outlined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide licensed practical nursing care to residents.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a person-centered approach to care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Practical Nurse License in good standing.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in long-term care settings.
- Background in working with veterans.
Additional Requirements:
This position is subject to a background check and may require a Tuberculosis screening prior to employment. Employment references will be verified for finalists.
