Job Opportunity

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join a rehabilitation hospital in Lynnwood, WA. This is a 13-week contract assignment, offering the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting focused on patient rehabilitation and recovery.

Job Details:
  • Assignment Duration: Approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts (typically 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week). No weekends or holidays required.
  • Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
  • Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Order Verification: Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders.
    • Pharmacokinetics: Monitor and adjust medication dosing, including antibiotics and anticoagulants, using pharmacokinetic principles.
    • Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.
    • Consultation: Provide medication therapy management, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
    • Patient Care: Educate patients and families on medication use and potential side effects.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Washington State pharmacist license.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred, particularly in a rehabilitation or similar setting.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient care.
  • Software: Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software systems (e.g., EPIC, Pyxis, or Omnicell) is preferred.
