Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director - Global Operations to join our Finance team at Phibro Animal Health Corporation. As a key member of our global tax team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize our corporate tax compliance and minimize our tax liability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ASC 740 income tax provision and review of federal, state, and local filings, including planning, executing, directing, and completing any tax projects.
  • Work with non-US subsidiaries to analyze and reconcile all non-US tax accounts as part of the global consolidation process according to US GAAP.
  • Supervise all domestic tax projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Global Tax to coordinate global tax projects across our various professional service providers.
  • Review tax estimates and tax returns prepared by a third-party provider for accuracy and ensure all returns are filed on a timely basis.
  • Participate in acquisitions and major transactions and identify tax savings opportunities.
  • Research and consult on various tax matters and work with tax consultants as necessary to research significant tax matters.
  • Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and ensure tax-related processes and documentation are in compliance with our Sarbanes Oxley objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA certification.
  • Master's degree in Taxation is strongly preferred.
  • Ten plus years' experience with significant exposure to a global environment.
  • Federal tax consulting and compliance experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience.
  • Experience in corporate income tax and strong ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes skills.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
