About the Role

At SSOE, Inc., we're seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our industrial project team. With a strong background in mechanical design and engineering principles, you'll be responsible for developing innovative solutions for state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college program, with licensure in the state of Texas. PE or PE-tracked professionals with five or more years of related experience are preferred.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office software. The successful candidate will also have experience with HVAC equipment sizing, ductwork design, and plumbing systems.

Salary Range
$100,000-$125,000 per year, depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and 3D Revit support for multiple projects.
- Perform HVAC load calculations, ductwork static pressure calculations, and pump head calculations.
- Develop detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scope.
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard accepted methods.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college program.
- PE or PE-tracked preferred, plus five or more years of related practical experience required.
- Experience with HVAC equipment sizing, ductwork design, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office software.
