About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Department team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and other veterinary technicians in providing medical care to patients, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Conduct venipuncture, place IV catheters, and perform other medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including communicating with clients about their pets' care and addressing their concerns.
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe hospital environment, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician in an emergency or critical care setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, clients, and other hospital staff.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
