PTS Advance is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Director to oversee the daily operations of our flagship facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our plant's infrastructure while fostering a culture of safety, service, and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, consultants, staff, and employees to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee maintenance activities in our nitrate buildings and cord manufacturing areas, ensuring maximum plant operating efficiency and adherence to approved budgets.
  • Safety and Compliance: Lead and promote a commitment to zero injuries through behavior-based safety initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manufacturing Excellence: Support initiatives that drive engagement across all areas of responsibility, contributing to the development of CAPEX spending initiatives.
  • Operations Management: Manage daily operations within approved budgets, participating in the annual budget process and developing budgets for areas of responsibility.
  • Personnel Management: Handle personnel matters, including scheduling, recognition, rewards, and discipline, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure daily inspections are conducted to verify the proper operation and condition of plant processes and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization through the implementation and sustenance of the 5S System.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the maintenance team to handle repairs and modifications, ensuring effective Active Work Order Management in areas of responsibility.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing within an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment.
  • 7+ years of maintenance experience within industrial, chemicals, or manufacturing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in various processes associated with manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Maintenance Module required.
