Job Summary

As a Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on their health and wellness, and working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Counsel patients on their medications, health conditions, and wellness, providing personalized advice and guidance.
  • Work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medications, treatments, and healthcare best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient information and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
