Job Title: Marine Electrician

Job Summary:

Tradesmen International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team of qualified professionals. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems on ships and other marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits
• Conduct insulation resistance measurements of electrical cables to determine condition and effect repairs or replacements
• Supervise and participate in the installation and/or alteration of electrical systems and aboard ships
• Maintain adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisition replacements
• Maintain electrical system maintenance histories, noting date and extent of repairs and/or alterations

Requirements:

• Tools for the trade
• Proper PPE
• OSHA 10 is preferred
