About the Role

Gardens of Eastbrooke is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that work schedules are followed and report any accidents or incidents to your supervisor.
  • Coordinate daily environmental services with nursing staff and perform routine cleaning assignments in resident living areas.
  • Attend departmental meetings and participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Perform isolation cleaning procedures and dispose of infectious waste properly.
  • Assist with lifting heavy equipment and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds and push/pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
