Food Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Scientist to join our team in product development and innovation. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing new food products and line extensions from concept to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and document test runs and results, identifying potential issues or improvements to the process or formulations.
- Develop new products and line extensions from bench top to commercialization, with a focus on technical and application experience in food manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with the management team to discuss and implement process improvements and formulation changes.
- Present technical ideas and solutions in technical reports, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Train and mentor less experienced R&D team members, establishing an efficient base of external vendors for ingredients, packaging, equipment, and technical support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or Culinary Science, or an Associate's degree in Culinary Science.
- Hands-on benchtop R&D experience with food products and Ready-To-Eat Meal Systems (RTE).
- Ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, draw valid conclusions, and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate product feedback into optimized solutions.
