Job Summary

The Anesthesia Technician plays a vital role in the provision of quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Reporting to the Circulating RN, OR Charge Nurse, and the Director of Peri-Operative Services, this individual assists Anesthesiologists and colleagues in delivering continuous, high-quality care to patients of all ages. Key responsibilities include adhering to regulations, standards, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist Anesthesiologists and colleagues in the provision of quality patient care
Maintain a safe and organized surgical environment
Adhere to regulations, standards, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures

Qualifications

Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
BCLS certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification
Certification preferred
