At Pima Medical Institute, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to our students in the veterinary field.

• Develop and implement daily lesson plans that meet the needs of our students and align with our curriculum.
• Plan and deliver instruction to achieve specific objectives, taking into account student needs and established curriculum.
• Prepare lectures, practical demonstrations, and lab activities to engage and educate our students.
• Monitor student attendance and coordinate with program directors and student services when necessary.
• Evaluate student performance and make provisions to meet learning needs.
• Maintain accurate student records and transcripts.
• Arrange and coordinate guest speakers, community service field trips, and visits to clinics and hospitals.

• Associate degree from an AVMA CVTEA accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• Three (3) years of occupational experience within the veterinary field.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.
