Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and locations, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct patient interviews to explain imaging procedures and address any concerns or questions.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Train and orient new hires, students, and trainees on MRI procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist with a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Current licensure in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
