Key Responsibilities

If you are passionate about enhancing the patient care experience and thrive in a challenging environment, this role may be for you. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, oral care, and grooming.
  • Responding promptly to patient calls and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Participating in regular patient rounds to monitor and address needs.
  • Safely transporting patients to various treatment areas as required.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of medical equipment and patient areas.
  • Keeping patient rooms organized and tidy, including bed-making duties.
  • Managing supply levels and reporting needs to supervisors.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care needs, ensuring that each individual feels valued and understood. A commitment to high-quality care and problem-solving in a dynamic setting is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience (3+ years).
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous experience as a nursing assistant or in a related healthcare role is necessary.

Nursing students may qualify as nursing assistants if permitted by state regulations.
