Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and maintain medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are clean, sterile, and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to understand instrument needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement efficient processing procedures to meet high-volume demands.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar sterile processing position.
  • Knowledge of surgeon preferences, procedures, instrumentation, and decontamination/sterilization.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T.) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
