A Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are kept clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. This position involves daily servicing of guest rooms according to established hotel standards, including replenishing supplies and changing linens, while adhering to safety and security protocols.

Additionally, this role may involve undertaking 'deep cleaning' tasks within guest rooms as part of routine maintenance.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.


This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.

Candidates must be able to convey information clearly and make quick, accurate decisions.

Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations is essential.

Core Duties:
Engage with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with hotel standards, which may vary based on operational needs.


Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand guidelines).

Adhere to all hotel policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.

Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.

Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies.

Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

May require disassembling furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning purposes.


Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, and addressing scratched furniture.
