Job Summary: ExecuSource is partnering with a renowned hospital system to find a Clinical Pharmacist - BMT/Oncology at their main campus in Sandy Springs. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a permanent position, and the Hiring Manager is actively scheduling interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of medication management for leukemia, lymphoma, and stem cell transplant patients.
- Provide patient care in inpatient, infusion center outpatient, and physician clinic outpatient settings, with daily patient rounding in all areas.
- Lead investigational drug research, oversee technician compounding in outpatient settings, and implement medication safety processes.
- Develop and provide extensive patient and staff education, as well as oversee medication management policies and procedures.
- Train pharmacy students and PGY-1 and PGY-2 pharmacy residents.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Master's degree with completion of a residency in the assigned clinical area or equivalent experience.
- Two years of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
Compensation: Pay for this role ranges from $62-$75/hour based on qualifications and experience.
