Theatre Operations Overview:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of theatre operations, including revenue management, sales and marketing, quality control, staff development, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Management:
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
    • Monitor and maintain revenue and expense management within budgeted parameters.
  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
    • Monitor competitors and market trends to inform sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure quality assurance ratings through guest comment cards, accounting audits, and inspection scores.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of overall theatre management experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a manager in a full-service restaurant or theatre operation.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Problem identification and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage a high-attendance tier theatre with multiple food and beverage options.
Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, and/or walk occasionally. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment:

The work environment is an office and theatre setting with moderate to high noise levels.
